I take many entrepreneurship classes at Brown, as well. Hometown: Denver, Colorado, USA Current city of residence: Providence, Rhode Island, USA School: Brown University Area of study: Gender & Sexuality Studies with a focus in how women develop their self-agency, in the framework of Sharon Krauses’ political theory of the non-sovereign self. This summer she is looking forward to gaining more entrepreneurship experience with Italian companies and her mates in order to hone her skills in making a social impact. Her most recent venture is She Is Without Limits, which provides an online platform for women to share their stories, using the customizable “She is” tagline to celebrate female individuality. Her column highlights women that pioneer careers in STEM and entrepreneurship to demystify the male-dominated fields and concomitantly empower female readers. She also started her own column Women Innovate! at the national magazine Innovation and Tech Today. She began when she was 18 by founding Lit Without Limits, which donates empowering literature to girls internationally in mentoring groups, with a curriculum she writes to accompany it. While living her most creative, entrepreneurial life she has started three ventures that help women reach their potential. Haley brings her experience from a women empowerment and media standpoint to the Italia Innovation community.
